Ryan Mutombo (born in 2003) is an American based basketball player from North Druid Hills, Georgia. He plays as a center. He is also famous for being the son of Dikembe Mutombo[1]Wikipedia, who is the former NBA player and Hall of Famer.
On October 1, 2020, Ryan announced that he would follow in his father’s footsteps by committing to play basketball at Georgetown University.

He is a Congo based retired American professional basketball player. Dikembe played for almost 18 seasons in the NBA (National Basketball Association). Apart from basketball, he has also become well known for his charity works.
Ryan Mutombo joined Georgetown University
Mutombo chose Georgetown, Hoyas among the final four locations that also included Stanford, Tennessee, and Georgia. Although Georgetown was always his favorite due to his father’s playing for the Hoyas. Furthermore, Tennessee was squarely in the mix down the stretch.
Georgetown University’s new coach Patrick Ewing made Ryan a priority recruit in his 2021 class. He is the fourth pledge for the Hoyas.

His father, Dikembe became Big East Defensive Player of the Year two times during his career at Georgetown before an NBA career.
His NBA Career included eight All-Star Game appearances and four Defensive Player of the Year awards. Moreover, he has the second-most blocked shots in NBA history.
